Arizona’s largest master planned community
breaks ground in the West Valley

Teravalis, previously known as Douglas Ranch, broke ground at the end of October, 2022.  Teravalis will be the State of Arizona’s largest master planned community and will be part of the Phoenix metro’s  West Valley.  Teravalis is going to be a 37,000-acre mixed-use master planned community projected to have a population of 300,00 with 100,000 homes and 55 million square feet of commercial development and completed within the next 50 years.  Teravalis will be located between the White Tank and Belmont Mountain regions in the City of Buckeye and will continue to preserve the beauty of the Sonoran Desert.

Teravalis will be another one of Howard Hughes Corporation’s master planned communities which are located throughout the country.  Phoenix leads the country with an 80% population growth within the past decade making Phoenix’s west valley, specifically the City of Buckeye which is only 14% built out a logical choice.  The master planned community is scheduled to open in late 2024, with phase 1 (3,000 acres) being completed sometime within the next 10 years.

You will find Teravalis in North Buckeye off Sun Valley Parkway between two communities, Tartesso and Sun City Festival.

Visit the Teravalis website to get information on Arizona’s largest master planned community and to be updated on new information as it becomes available.

It should be noted that the City of Buckeye is currently considered a buyers’ market.  If you would like information on the housing market in the City of Buckeye, leave a comment below.
